Instructions

Step 1
Preheat oven 450F / 232c. Put pie crust in dish. Mix peeled diced apples, lemon juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and sugar in large bowl. Pour into pie dish. Dot with butter. Put second pie crust on top. Cut several small air vents in top crust. Seal edges of pie crusts together with milk and brush milk over top so crust turns golden brown. Bake at 450F / 232c for 10-15 min. Turn heat down to 350F / 176c and bake 40-45 min. Sprinkle sugar on top after baking (optional).
