5 dlapple juice
22ginstant yeast
1 Tbspsalt
3 dldark syrup
3 dlbeer malt

10 dlwheat flour

Instructions
Step 1
Warm the liquids to hand temperature in the microwave or in a pot. Put the liquids and yeast in a large dough bowl. Mix and let the yeast dissolve for a while. Add salt, syrup, malts, bran and finally flour. Mix into a dough. Let the dough rise for 1 hour under a cloth.
Step 2
Grease the pans. Fill the molds ¾ with the dough. The dough will probably be enough for three pans, depending on the size of the pan. Raise for 30 minutes under a cloth.
Step 3
Bake at 175 degrees on the bottom shelf of the oven for 1 hour. Soak the island bread with syrup water and continue baking for another 30 min. Let the loaves cool. Island bread only gets better if you let it stand in the fridge for a day or two, wrapped in cling film.
