Step 1
Preheat the oven to 175°C.

Melt the butter in a saucepan. Mix in the room temperature milk and let cool.

Whisk the eggs and sugar heavily in a big bowl.

Mix flour, vanilla powder, cocoa powder and baking powder in a seperate bowl, then pour into the eggmix.

Slowly fold everything together with a silicone spatula until an even and smooth batter.

Add the butter and milk mix and fold into the batter.

Pour the batter into a baking tray with parchment paper and bake in the middle of the oven for around 20 minutes.

Melt the butter and let cool.

Mix the icing sugar, cocoa powder and vanilla powder in a bowl with a fork. Mix in the room temperatre coffee and melted butter until a smooth icing.

Take the pan out of the oven and let cool a little bit before spreading the icing evenly over it woth a spoon or a spatula

Wait a few minutes until the icing has hardened a bit and sprinkle the coconut flakes to your liking.
