Instructions
Step 1
1. Place salmon on sheet of foil with the skin-side down. Raise the edges of the foil up about 2 inches.
Step 2
2. Nestle lemon slices underneath the salmon.
Step 3
3. To the melted butter, add gochujang, honey, garlic, fish sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil and white pepper and mix well.
Step 4
4. Pour about three quarters of the mixture over the salmon; reserve remainder.
Step 5
5. Add another sheet of foil on top in order and seal the salmon. Crimp or pinch the top and bottom pieces of foil together; get it as air tight as possible. Set aside to marinate for about 2 hours or overnight is better.
Step 6
6. To cook, preheat the oven to 375F.
Step 7
7. Place foil pack on a baking sheet and bake for about 15 minutes.
Step 8
8. Remove the top piece of foil or open up the packet so salmon is exposed but keep the edges raised to contain buttery mixture.
Step 9
9. Set oven to HI to broil.
Step 10
10. Spoon the reserved buttery mixture over the salmon.
Step 11
11. Broil salmon for about 5 to 10 minutes, or until salmon is as golden as desired.
Step 12
12. Garnish salmon with chives and toasted sesame seeds, serve immediately.
