Step 1
Preheat the oven to 400ºF.
Step 2
In a bowl, combine and mix olive oil, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, Italian seasoning, onion powder, cayenne pepper, and fresh squeezed lemon juice.
Step 3
Line a baking pan with parchment paper. Next, pat salmon completely dry on both sides and place the salmon in the baking pan. Then, brush the salmon with the oil & spice mixture. You may end up having to use all of the mixture but make sure that the salmon is well coated in the spice mixture.
Step 4
Bake in the oven for about 20-25 minutes uncovered or until the salmon is cooked thoroughly. You can check on doneness around the 18-20 minute mark.
Step 5
Let the salmon rest for about 10 minutes before serving.
