Instructions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 200°C
Step 2
Heat the oil on a deep pan. Add the onion and carrot a cook until softened - around 3-4 minutes

Add the chilli and cook for 2 minutes
Step 4
Add the meat until it is brown all over
Step 5
Stir in the flour, a little at a time, then add the hot stock and tomato purree. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to simmer

Add Worcestershire sauce and peas, season with Salt & Pepper, cover the pan and cook for 15 minutes
Step 7
Cook the potatoes in a large pan of boiling Salted water until soft - around 20 minutes
Step 8
Drain, add the milk and butter and mash
Step 9
Spoon the meat mixture in a large oven proof dish cover with mashed potato
Step 10
Cook until golden brown - 25 minutes
