Instructions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350F (180C). Line a baking pan with parchment paper.

Add flour, powdered sugar and salt to mixing bowl (can be food processor, or standing mixer) and mix until well combined.

While electric mixer(s) running on low, slowly add the softened butter a little bit at a time.
Unsalted butterUnsalted butter1 cup
Step 4
Add the extracts and mix until the mixture is fine crumbs, then keep mixing until it all comes together and forms a dough.
Almond extractAlmond extract½ tsp
Step 5
Dump the dough into a baking pan and press it all to an even layer. Prick it all over with a fork.

Bake until golden brown, about 40-45 minutes. Transfer to cooling spot and let cool for about 10 minutes

Use parchment paper to lift the biscuits out of the baking pan and place on cutting board. While still warm, cut into 16 squares.
