Step 1
Making the sauce: In a bowl, add 2 tablespoons soy sauce, 1 tablespoon oyster sauce, 1 tablespoon cooking wine, 2 tablespoons gochujang (Korean red pepper paste), 1 tablespoon sugar, 1/2 tablespoon minced garlic, a little bit of pepper.
Step 2
Rinse soybean sprouts 2-3 times, then blanch in boiling water for 3 minutes. Cool them in cold water and drain.
Step 3
Slice 2 green onions and some pork belly into small pieces.
Step 4
Heat 1-2 tablespoons of oil in a pan, sauté the onions until fragrant, then add pork and stir-fry on medium-high for a minute.
Step 5
After 1 minute, add sauce and stir-fry, then incorporate 2 bowls of rice and the blanched sprouts; stir-fry for another minute. Finish with a spoon of sesame oil and sesame seeds. Serve with a fried egg and optional gim for added flavor. Enjoy your soybean sprout fried rice!
