Tofu with stir-fried kimchi

4 steps
Prep:15minCook:15min
Yes, you can eat raw tofu 💘 There's nothing better than fresh and hot steaming tofu straight from the tofu house. If you ever have a chance to visit Korea, make sure that your guide or friend takes you to a tofu house. They will serve freshly made tofu with stir-fried pork belly and kimchi. I went for a version without pork belly.

Instructions

Step 1
1) Chop up the kimchi into bite-sized pieces and stir-fry in a pan over medium heat.
Step 2
2) dd 1 tbsp gochugaru, 1/2 tbsp sugar and 1 tbsp sesame oil and 1/2 of crushed garlic while continuously stir-frying. Stir-fry for about 5–8 minutes.
Step 3
3) Put the tofu in a pot with water and add a pinch of salt. Let it cook for about 2 minutes. This way, the tofu gets denser and won't easily break apart.
Step 4
4) Serve tofu with kimchi together on a plate, enjoy 😁Traditionally, you will have rice wine along with this dish 🙂
