Ingredients

I N G R E D I E N T S
1 ½ cupsalmond flour
1 ½ cupscake meal
1 tablespoonbaking powder
1 teaspoonsalt
6eggs
large
1 ½ cupssugar
¾ cupsavocado oil
or olive
1 teaspoonvanilla extract
1 tablespoonorange zest
or lemon, optional, but add elegance
½ cupmini chocolate chips
can sub in any other mix in here
1egg wash
egg + water
flaky sea salt
optional
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
Step 2
Mix together cake meal, almond flour, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
Step 3
In another bowl beat the eggs with sugar until pale yellow.
Step 4
Add in oil and vanilla into the egg mixture and then add slowly incorporate the dry .
Step 5
Mix all together.
Step 6
Wet hands and form dough into 4 logs about 2 inches wide. (see photo below)
Step 7
Brush logs with egg wash and a sprinkle of flaky sea salt (if you have) and bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes until golden brown. Rotate your pan at the 20 minute mark.
Step 8
Cut logs into 1/2 inch slices when warm, let cool completely and enjoy!!
