Instructions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease an 8x8 baking dish.
Step 2
Mash bananas in a large bowl. Add honey and coconut sugar, and mix (using a hand mixer, a stand mixer, or a whisk) until well incorporated. Add applesauce, vanilla, and egg; mix well.
Step 3
In a separate bowl, combine almond flour, cacao powder, baking soda, and sea salt.
Step 4
Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, and mix until fully incorporated. Stir in chocolate chips.
Step 5
Pour batter into greased baking dish. Optional: sprinkle the top with additional chocolate chips.
Step 6
Bake for 30-35 minutes, until a knife or toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
