Step 1
Wash, pat dry chicken
Step 2
Season both sides of each chicken piece with salt and pepper
Step 3
Brown chicken pieces on both sides in olive oil

Once browned, set chicken aside

Sauté ¼ cup olive oil, chopped onions, and red pepper
Step 6
Add tomato sauce and spices (except for the salt)

Simmer for a few minutes, then pour in chicken stock

Return the chicken pieces to the pot, stir well, simmer for 10 minutes

Taste for salt and adjust if necessary
Step 10
Stir in the peanut butter until well mixed and cook until the stew thickens
