Instructions
Step 1
Sauté onions until translucent.




Step 2
Add garlic cook until fragrant.

Step 3
Place the corned beef in a Dutch oven.
Step 4
Sprinkle with peppercorns, add bay leaves and pour in 4 cups beef broth.



Step 5
Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and cook for about 2 1/2 hours.
Step 6
Add potatoes, carrots and cabbage, cook about 20 - 30 minutes until veggies are tender



Step 7
Add liquid if necessary to keep brisket covered.
Step 8
Slice across the grain.
