Instructions
Step 1
Dough:
Chop together flour and butter. Add 3 egg yolks, cognac, sour cream, and baking soda. Mix together, separate into 3 pieces and put in the fridge for 30 minutes
Step 2
Filling:
Whip 5 egg whites, then add sugar and chopped nuts.
Step 3
Roll out one part of the dough over bottom of 12x18 baking sheet. Evenly spread half of the topping over the dough. Top with second rolled out dough sheet and second half of the filling. Last rolled out dough sheet goes on top and spread remaining egg yolks over it and then score diagonal lines and top with a piece of nut on each diamond.
Step 4
Bake at 350 for 1 hour.
