1 poundbeef strips
sirloin or flank steak

1 tablespoonsoy sauce

1egg

corn starch
for coating

vegetable oil
for frying
For the sause

½ cupketchup

½ cupsoy sauce

½ cupsweet chili sauce

¼ cupvinegar

¼ cuporange juice

½ cuphoney

1 clovegarlic
crushed

1 tablespooncornstarch
diluted in 2 tablespoons of cold water

Instructions
Step 1
In a large bowl, combine the beef strips with 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, and the egg. Mix well until the beef is coated with the marinade

Step 2
Dip each beef strip into cornstarch, ensuring they are well coated.
Step 3
Heat vegetable oil in a skillet, wok, or deep fryer to a medium-high temperature.

Step 4
Fry the coated beef strips in batches for about 3-4 minutes until they are crispy and golden brown. Remove them from the oil and drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.

In a separate pan, combine the ketchup, soy sauce, sweet chili sauce, vinegar, orange juice, crushed garlic, and honey, Heat the sauce over medium heat, stirring constantly, until it becomes bubbly and glossy.

Step 6
Once the sauce is ready, add the fried beef strips to the pan with the sauce. Mix everything together for about 1 minute to coat the beef strips evenly with the sauce.

Remove from heat and transfer the shredded crispy beef with the sauce to a serving dish.

Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.

Serve the shredded crispy beef over steamed rice or with broccoli
