Instructions

Step 1
Heat oil in medium skillet.
Step 2
Season salmon with five-spice and salt.
Step 3
Add salmon to hot skillet and cook, without moving, until sides begin to brown and lift up. If skin-on, place skin side down first.
Step 4
Flip fillets, drizzle with vinegar.
Step 5
Cover pan and reduce heat to medium. Cook 3 more minutes.
Step 6
Use fork to check doneness. Fish should flake at the edges.
