Ingredients

large, peeled and deveined
2 Tbspolive oil
2cloves garlic

1 tspred pepper flakes

Sauce
2 Tbspbutter
1shallot
small, finely chopped
2cloves garlic
minced
1 cuptomato
diced
1 cupheavy cream
ยฝ cupchicken broth
or vegetable
ยผ cupwhite wine
optional
1lemon
juice and zest
ยผ cupfresh dill
chopped

Garnish
Instructions
Cook the Pasta
Step 1
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Prepare the Shrimp
Step 2
While the pasta is cooking, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Step 3
Add the shrimp, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 4
Cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they turn pink and are cooked through. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
Make the Sauce

In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.

Add the chopped shallot and minced garlic, sautรฉ until fragrant and translucent, about 2-3 minutes.

Pour in the white wine (if using) and let it simmer until it reduces by half.

Add the heavy cream and chicken or vegetable broth. Bring the mixture to a simmer and let it cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens.

Stir in the lemon juice, lemon zest, and chopped fresh dill. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Combine Everything

Add the cooked pasta and shrimp to the skillet with the sauce. Toss everything together until the pasta and shrimp are well coated with the sauce. Let it cook for another 2-3 minutes to ensure everything is heated through.
Serve

Divide the shrimp dill pasta among serving plates.

Garnish with additional fresh dill and lemon wedges.
