1 pkgLittle smokies

1onion
lg, diced

2bell peppers
diced

1 bulbgarlic
minced

15 ozcan pinto beans

15 ozcan black beans

15 ozcan petite diced tomatoes

1 cupbrown sugar

2 tablespoonbutter

1 tablespoonchili powder

1 tablespoondried oregano

1 teaspoonsalt

1 teaspoonpepper

2bay leaves

½ teaspoongarlic powder

½ teaspoononion powder

1 teaspoonsmoked paprika
Instructions
Step 1
In a medium sauce pan, brown the little smokies in some butter over medium heat.
Step 2
Add the diced onions and cook until translucent.
Step 3
Add the diced bell peppers and cook until softened.
Step 4
Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Step 5
Add the tomatoes, beans, brown sugar, and all the seasonings. Stir together.
Step 6
Reduce heat and simmer, covered, to meld the flavors (approximately 20 minutes). Stirring occasionally.
Step 7
Uncover the pot, and continue to simmer on low until reduced to your preference.
