Instructions

Step 1
Cut the chicken into chunks about the same size and flour them and chop the onion. Brown the onion in a saucepan along with the olive oil and crushed garlic clove.

When the onion has become transparent, add the chicken, deglaze with white wine, and evaporate over a high flame.
Step 3
Lower the flame and add the turmeric, bay leaf, and hot vegetable broth. Cook everything for about 15 minutes, consistent with the size of your morsels. Add salt and pepper to taste. Meanwhile, peel the apples and cut them into cubes or wedges. Brown them in a nonstick skillet along with the butter for about 5 minutes.
Step 4
Add them to the casserole with the chicken and stir. Let it season for another 5 minutes, stir in the Skyr on low heat for 2-3 minutes (no more, otherwise it will lose its creaminess), and turn off. Serve the turmeric chicken on serving plates sprinkling it with fresh parsley and accompanying it with basmati rice.
