Step 1
Add oil to pan and turn to medium heat. Once heated, add garlic and cook until fragrant.
Step 2
Add the shallot, and continue cooking until soft.
Step 3
Add the shrimp, salt, and pepper and sautée for 2-3 minutes. Stir, then place lid on pan and turn heat to low.
Step 4
Allow shrimp to cook fully. Then remove them from the pan, leaving the liquid.
Step 5
Turn up heat to medium-high and reduce the pan liquid, stirring continuously, until it is thick and begins to turn a caramel color.
Step 6
Serve as desired.
