Ingredients
3 servings

500graw shrimp
peeled and deveined

6garlic cloves
minced

1 Tbspfresh ginger
grated

2 Tbspolive oil

1 Tbspsoy sauce

1 Tbspoyster sauce

1 tspchili flakes
optional

½ cupchicken broth

1 tspcornstarch
mixed with 1 tbsp water

salt
to taste

pepper
to taste

parsley
Chopped, or spring onion for garnish

rice
cooked, or noodles, to serve
Instructions
Step 1
Get the prawns ready:
After rinsing, use paper towels to pat the shrimp dry. Add a small pinch of salt and pepper.
Step 2
Mince Garlic and Ginger:
Grate the ginger and mince the garlic with your Sharp Blades chef's knife.
Step 3
Sauté Aromatics:
In a skillet or wok over medium heat, warm the olive oil. Add the chilli flakes, ginger, and garlic. Stir for one minute until aromatic.
Step 4
Cook Shrimp:
Add the shrimp and cook them for two to three minutes on each side, or until they are opaque and pink. Take out and put aside.
Step 5
Create the Sauce:
Put the chicken broth, oyster sauce, and soy sauce in the same skillet. Bring to a simmer. Stir in the cornflour slurry until it thickens.
Step 6
Mix and serve:
By adding the prawns back to the skillet. Coat with sauce by tossing. Cook for another one to two minutes.
Step 7
Garnish and enjoy:
Serve over noodles or rice and sprinkle with chopped parsley or spring onions.
