Step 1
Cook onions in butter to soften (if using fresh onions. If dried minced onions, add them when adding stock)
Step 2
Add flour and spices. Cooking for a couple minutes until flour and butter paste starts to get golden.
Step 3
Add all but a tbsp white wine. Cook for a minute. Add seafood stock and chicken base, stirring until smooth.
Step 4
Turn off heat, then add heavy cream and lemon juice. Taste and adjust salt, and lemon until you like it. Return to medium heat and add seafood. If seafood is already cooked, then just wait for it to warm up. If seafood is raw, cook until safe to eat.
