Ham Cobb Salad

This is a #CobbSalad or also could be called a #Charcuterie #Salad. This salad has a mix of vegetables, berries, and meat! This can be served with or without a dressing. Feel free to add or remove your favourite vegetables, berries, and meats! Enjoy!

Step 1
NOTE: You can start the cooking processes of the Bacon Bits and Hard Boiled Eggs at the same time.
Make the "Bacon Bits"

Cut the bacon in to little cubes into a frying pan

Turn the element onto 8 or 9 and fry the bacon with the lid on, making sure to mix the bacon every so often. Once the bacon is crispy and crumbly, remove from the heat. This process should take about 20 minutes.

Transfer the cooked bacon bits into a paper towel lined bowl so you can absorb the extra grasses into the paper towel.

Making the "Hard Boiled Eggs"

Place your eggs into a pot. If you are having troubles fitting the eggs into the pot, you can tilt the pot first and gently lay the eggs down one at a time. This will allow them to align better into the pot.

Then fill the pot with warm water.

Place on the stove and turn the element onto max and start a timer for 20 minutes.

After the timer has gone off, remove the eggs from the heat and take to the sink and run water into the pot with a slight tilt for 2 minutes. This will cool down the eggs in a gradual way. You want to make sure you don't drain the boiled water but more so let it cool down.
Putting it All Together

Chop, slice, cut all the vegetables, berries, and meat.

Once the eggs are done boiling you can de-shell them and slice them in half (Long Way).

Separate and place the iceberg lettuce into the bottom of the bowls that you are using for the meal.

Then starting adding the chopped, sliced, cut vegetables, berries, and meat in whatever order you want; on top of the lettuce.
