Instructions

Step 1
boil spaghetti in skillet, minimal water to make it starchy. boil to just before al dente
Step 2
at the same time, melt butter in second skillet. once melted add in minced garlic and shrimp (if raw)
Step 3
once garlic smell has calmed down and shrimp have cooked, add in soy + oyster + fish sauce. make sure not to brown/burn garlic
Step 4
using tongs, combine cooked spaghetti into garlic sauce. don't worry about excess water coming with the tongs-- starch will help emulsify
Step 5
stir and toss until creamy (~30-45 seconds) adding more pasta water as needed
Step 6
serve with a big smile and tears in your eyes
