Step 1
Set oven at 350
Step 2
Separate yolks from egg whites
Step 3
Beat egg whites until firm with cream of tartar
Step 4
Sift flour, sugar and baking powder and use wooden spoon to mix with egg yolks, vegetable oil, juice and vanilla
Step 5
When egg whites are ready, fold in flour mixture using a wooden spoon
Step 6
Pour mixture into tube pan
Step 7
When removed from oven flip cake upside down over an inverted cup
Step 8
Let cool completely before removing from pan
