Broccoli cheese soup

My homemade broccoli cheese soup is a family favorite meal. Cheesy goodness in every bite, plus a few delicious veggies! I recommend serving it in a bread boule.

Instructions

Step 1
Melt butter, cook onion and carrots until tender, medium heat, roughly 10 minutes. Then, add garlic until fragrant about 30 seconds
Step 2
Add half and half, chicken stock, and cornstarch, cook on medium heat until thickened, stirring occasionally
Step 3
Add broccoli and simmer until tender. Then, add cheese stirring until melted
Step 4
Season to taste and serve while hot, enjoy!
