Instructions
Step 1
Brown ground beef and drain.
Step 2
Add tomato paste, stewed tomatoes, onion powder, black pepper and oregano.
Step 3
Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
Step 4
Cook lasagne noodles as directed on the package.
Step 5
Pre-heat oven to 350°.
Step 6
In a deep dish lasagne pan (16 ¼ x 11 x 4 ½) alternate layers of meat sauce, noodles and cheeses. Begin and end with meat sauce.
Step 7
Order: meat sauce, noodles, cottage cheese, mozzarella cheese, and repeat.
Step 8
Use 4 lasagne noodles across the width of the pan and do 4 layers high.
Step 9
Bake covered for 20-30 minutes.
