Instructions

Step 1
Combine seeds in a bowl
Step 2
Heat maple syrup in the microwave for 30 seconds
Step 3
Pour hot maple syrup over the seeds and stir to combine
Step 4
Keep stirring until all the seeds are evenly mixed
Step 5
Pour the seed mix into a lined baking dish / sheet and distribute evenly over the base to form an even layer of seed mixture
Step 6
Using a piece of greaseproof paper, place it over the flattened seed mixture and press down with a spoon to compact the seed mixture slightly
Step 7
Cook for 20 mins at 180 degrees C
Step 8
Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 5 mins
Step 9
Using the same piece of greaseproof paper, place it over the flattened seed mixture and press down with a spoon to compact the seed mixture slightly again
Step 10
Using a sharp knife, cut into rectangular bar shaped pieces
Step 11
Allow to completely cool before placing in an airtight container for storage
