Instructions

Step 1
Cream together the unsalted butter with the granulated sugar and vanilla sugar

Add the egg

Finally, stir in the flour and baking powder

Divide the dough into two equal portions

Add the black food coloring in one of the dough and the orange one in the other

Wrap the doughs and refrigerate for 1 hour

Preheat you oven at 175°C

Roll out the dough and cut the cookies using a round cookie cutter then cut the center with a cookie cutter of your choice (I used a pumpkin cookie cutter) - Switch the orange center and the black center

Transfer the cookies onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper

Bake at 175°C for 8 to 12 minutes
Step 11
Let the cookies sit on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely
