Instructions

Step 1
Add warm water and sugar in the bowl of a stand mixer with a dough attachment or you can do it by hand. Stir to combine. Sprinkle the top of the water with yeast. Then stir. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes.
Step 2
Gradually stir in the flour, olive oil, and salt until a shaggy dough forms. Then knead for 5 minutes until smooth, adding extra flour if the dough is too sticky.
Step 3
Place the dough into a bowl sprayed with cooking spray and spray the top of the dough as well. Cover with plastic rise and let it rise for 45-60 minutes or until doubled in size.
Step 4
Spray a 9x13 pan with cooking spray. Place the dough into the pan and let it rise for another 20 minutes.
Step 5
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
Step 6
Use your hands to poke dents into the dough and poke all the way down. Drizzle a tbsp or two of olive oil (or butter) all over the top then sprinkle with salt and rosemary or and herbs you like.
Step 7
Bake for 20 minutes or until slightly golden brown and at least 190 degrees in the center.
Step 8
Remove from the oven and brush on some olive oil or butter if desired.
