Step 1
Cook the sausages first until they’re charred.
Step 2
Take them out of the pan, put the onions in. There’s usually some crusted up burned bits left on the pan, but the moisture from the onions will help those come off.
Step 3
Once the browned bits from the pan are lifted up with the onions add anywhere from 1-2 tablespoons of sugar to the onions and then let them cook until they’re all nice and caramelized.
Add either red wine vinegar, white wine vinegar, apple cider vinegar or balsamic vinegar to the pan.
