Instructions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Step 2
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg, molasses, and vinegar and beat until combined.

Step 3
In a medium bowl combine flour, salt, baking soda, and ginger. Blend into creamed mixture.

Wrap dough tightly in plastic wrap and chill for several hours.
Step 5
Roll dough into small balls, then roll in granulated sugar. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet until golden brown.

Let cool 2-3 minutes before moving to wire rack.
