25mlbaking soda
250mlBlack Coffee

Filling
Instructions
Step 1
In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, salt and sugar

Crumble butter, margarine and pig fat into the dry mixture

Add the syrup and mix
Step 4
Mix baking soda with a bit of the coffee and add to mixture
Step 5
Combine everything well to form a dough
Step 6
Place dough in plastic bag and leave overnight

Preheat oven to 180 degrees celcius

Roll dough out thinly

Cute into evenly sized rectangles

Make criss cross patterns into the dough with a fork

Bake 10-12 mins

Mix Coffee powder with boiling water

Heat to boiling and boil for 5 mins
