Instructions
Step 1
1. Add the dry ingredients to a bowl, then gradually add the water and stir
Step 2
2. Bring it into a shaggy dough and then knead for 10 minutes until the dough is smooth and supple
Step 3
3. Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl and cover it until it has doubled in size
Step 4
4. Once it has doubled in size, knock the air out and pour onto a flat surface to shape the dough into a ball
Step 5
5. Place the dough ball into the tin your will bake it in, cover it and let it rise for an hour.
Step 6
6. Preheat the oven to 390 degrees F.
Step 7
7. Scour the dough and powder the top with flour. Place it in the oven for 30-35 minutes. You know it’s done when you tap the base and it sounds hollow
