Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Step 2
Mix shredded chicken with 1 cup of cheese, then evenly divide into tortillas. Roll up and place seam-side down in the dish.
Step 3
In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute.
Slowly whisk in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring constantly until thickened.
Add green chiles, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir well, then remove from heat and mix in sour cream.
Step 4
Pour the sauce evenly over the enchiladas and top with remaining cheese.
Step 5
Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
Step 6
Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot.
