1. Melt the butter

2. Mix the butter and sugar in a bowl; this will be the main bowl

3. Add the egg (and vanilla) and continue mixing

4. Sift half of the flour and gradually mix it into the dough

5. Sift and add the other half of the flour; make sure to avoid lumps!

6. After mixing evenly, wrap the dough in a (transparent plastic) film and leave said dough in the freezer for 15 minutes

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees celsius and flatten/stretch the dough to around 3mm in thickness

Use molds (or cups) to make shapes in the flattened dough; These cutouts will be the biscuits.

Repeat step 8 by recycling the leftovers until there is no dough left.

Leave the biscuits in the oven for around 13 minutes.
