Flat Iron Steak With Cilantro Pesto Sauce and Red Mashed Potatoes

1 step
Prep:1h 30minCook:40min
A delicious fusion of Southwestern and Italian flavors, featuring tender, perfectly grilled medium-rare flat iron steak topped with a vibrant, homemade cilantro pesto sauce. Fresh cilantro, jalapeño, roasted pecans, garlic, Parmesan cheese, and lime juice come together to create a rich, zesty, slightly spicy sauce that's the true star of the dish. Served alongside creamy, buttery red mashed potatoes, this meal delivers a wonderful balance of savory, tangy, and fresh flavors. The steak and potatoes are delicious on their own, but they're really just an excuse to enjoy more of that irresistible cilantro pesto!
