Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 450f
Step 2
Warm milk to slightly warm to touch
Step 3
Combine milk, eggs, starter, and salt
Step 4
Sift in flour to wets
Step 5
Do not over mix, lumps are expected
Step 6
Heat a muffin or popover pan in the oven
Step 7
Carefully remove pan from oven, oil with oil of choice or butter
Step 8
Fill cup holes. If using a muffin pan fill every other hole and fill to the top. Work quickly.
Step 9
Bake for 15 minutes at 450f
Step 10
Reduce heat to 375f and bake for an additional 15-20 min until golden brown
Step 11
Pop out to rack immediately upon removal from oven. Be mindful of any remaining oil
