Step 1
Preheat oven to 400 and line baking sheet with parchment paper
Step 2
Add blackberries, sugar, and lemon juice to small saucepan and cook over low heat for 4 minutes
Step 3
Add cornstarch and let thicken, about 2 minutes
Step 4
Cut a sheet of puff pastry dough into 9 squares
Step 5
Fill middle of each square with some blackberry mixture and fold in half diagonally. Crimp edges with a fork
Step 6
Mix water and egg yolk together and brush on top
Step 7
Bake for 12-14 minutes. Serve with icing drizzled on top (milk and powdered sugar mixed together)
