Freshly grind the pepper and add it and the rest of the spices in a small bowl. Mix and then add dried diced carrots. Mix. Your seasoning mix is done!

If you don't have savory, you can substitute thyme and marjoram. If you don't have marjoram, you can substitute oregano. If you don't have celery seeds, you can substitute celery leaves - just note, you might need to add more for the deep sweet celery flavor that the seeds have. This recipe is not spicy, please do not leave out the cayenne powder!
