Step 1
Set slow cooker on High for 4 hours. Heat 2 tbsp. EVOO in the bottom of the cooker for a few mins. Add 3-4 cloves chopped garlic and 1 can of tomato paste. Mix together and let simmer a little while you prep to add the rest. Add 6 cans of tomato sauce. Add 1 can water. Put in the basil leaves, sugar, oregano & parsley. Stir well. Add cooked Italian Sausage and/or cooked meatballs. Let it all cook for 4 hours. Best to make it late in the day and let it cool overnight. So much better the next day!
