Instructions
Step 1
Put together milk, sugar, shortening and salt
Step 2
Sprinkle yeast on warm water. Stir until dissolved
Step 3
Add half cup of flour to milk mixture
Step 4
Mix flour by hand or with electric mixer for 1 minute then beat eggs and yeast
Step 5
Add rest of flour little at a time until a soft dough forms and doesn't stick to side of bowl

Knead dough on flour surface until dough is smooth should take 5 to 8 minutes
Step 7
Place dough in lightly greased bowl and cover and let it rise 1 to 1 1/2 hours in a warm place
Step 8
Shape dough balls and brush melted butter on the top. Let dough raise for 30 more minutes.
Step 9
Preheat oven to 375. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown
