These are my go-to bagels when I want something quick, cozy, and homemade. Just 4 simple ingredients, no yeast, and they come out soft, chewy, and golden every time. SO so easy and so good!

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour (2 cups), salt (1/4 teaspoon), baking powder (2 teaspoons), and plain Greek yogurt (1 1/2 cups). Mix until a dough begins to form.
Step 2

Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead it for a few minutes until smooth and elastic.
Step 3

Divide the dough into four equal pieces. Roll each piece into a ball

Then gently poke a hole in the center with your finger and shape it into a bagel ring.
Step 5

Bring a pot of water to a gentle boil. Blanch each bagel in the hot water for about 30 seconds per side.
Step 6

Place the blanched bagels on a baking tray lined with baking paper. If you like, brush the tops with beaten egg (1 egg) and sprinkle with sesame seeds (to taste).
Step 7
Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 30 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
Step 8

Let cool slightly and enjoy with your favorite toppings like cream cheese and smoked salmon, blueberries and honey, or anything you like!
