Instructions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

Season & sear: Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. In a skillet, heat oil or butter over medium heat and sear chicken for 3–4 minutes per side until lightly golden (they do not need to be cooked through).

Mix topping: In a bowl, combine mozzarella, Parmesan, and breadcrumbs.

Assemble: Place seared chicken breasts in a baking dish. Spoon ranch dressing over each, then top generously with the cheese-breadcrumb mixture. Press lightly to adhere.

Bake: Bake for 15–20 minutes or until chicken is cooked through (165°F internal temp) and topping is golden brown.

Garnish & serve: Sprinkle with extra Parmesan and fresh parsley. Serve with mashed potatoes, pasta, or steamed vegetables.
