Instructions

Step 1
Slice the pre-cooked chicken sausage into rounds.
Step 2
* Toss the sliced bell pepper and onion (if using) with olive oil or cooking spray and seasonings.
Step 3
* Toaster Oven Method: Spread the sausage, bell pepper, and onion on a small baking sheet lined with foil. Bake in a preheated toaster oven at 400°F (200°C) for 8-10 minutes, or until vegetables are tender-crisp and sausage is lightly browned.
Step 4
* Stovetop Method: Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add a tiny bit of olive oil or cooking spray. Add the sliced bell pepper and onion and sauté for 3-5 minutes until starting to soften. Add the sausage slices and cook for another 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until heated through and lightly browned.
