Instructions

Step 1
Boil pasta of choice, and drain.
Step 2
Toast panko seasoned break crumbs and set aside.
Step 3
In a large sauce pan, melt butter over medium-low heat.
Step 4
Add the flour and whisk to incorporate, cook about a minute.
Step 5
Slowly add the milk, while whisking.
Step 6
Increase the heat to medium and stir occasionally until it starts to bubble. The sauce will thicken enough to coat the back of a spoon.
Step 7
When it reaches this stage, salt, white pepper, smoked paprika, and mustard powder to taste.
Step 8
Add the cheese, one handful at a time, whisking to incorporate. When one handful is melted, add the next.
Step 9
When all the shredded cheese has been added, add cooked, chopped bacon, and mix in.
Step 10
Toss the cooked pasta in the sauce, and fold all together.
Step 11
Transfer to baking dish.
Step 12
Add shredded cheese on top and broil for 1-2 minutes.
Step 13
Remove and added toasted bread crumbs and parsley, and enjoy!
Step 14
Extra note: this recipe can also have lobster added, if wanted.
