Instructions

Step 1
1. Rinse the Rice

Rinse rice in a fine mesh strainer until water runs mostly clear.

This keeps it from getting gummy.

2. Add to Instant Pot
Step 5
Add rinsed rice, coconut milk, water, salt, and sugar to the pot.
Step 6
Stir well to break up any coconut milk solids.
Step 7
3. Pressure Cook
Step 8
Close lid, set valve to “Sealing.”
Step 9
Cook on High Pressure for 5 minutes.
Step 10
Let it naturally release for 10 minutes, then manually release any remaining pressure.
Step 11
4. Fluff & Serve
Step 12
Open the lid, fluff gently with a fork.
Step 13
Garnish if you’re feeling fancy.
