Greg - Fol -A Chicken Tenders
6 steps

Craving Chick-fil-A on a Sunday? We’ve got you covered. These homemade Copycat Chick-fil-A Tenders bring that signature flavor right to your kitchen—no drive-thru necessary, no closed doors on the Lord’s day. Juicy, golden, and infused with that familiar hint of dill and sweet pickle brine, these tenders are crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and downright addictive.
The secret? A dill pickle marinade that tenderizes and flavors the chicken, a seasoned flour coating that crisps up to perfection, and of course—peanut oil, the not-so-secret weapon behind that iconic Chick-fil-A crunch.
Pair them with waffle fries straight from the freezer aisle at Walmart (you know the ones), also deep-fried in peanut oil for that just-like-the-real-thing finish. Dip in your favorite sauce—homemade Chick-fil-A sauce, anyone?—and you’ve got yourself the holy grail of fast food fakes.
Now Sunday can taste just like Saturday. Or Monday. Or any day.

Step 2
2. Place chicken in plastic bag with pickle juice and marinate for about 2 hours
Step 3

3. Mix up eggs in seperate bowl for the egg wash.
Step 4

4. Mix flour and remaining spices in another shallow bowl.
Step 5
5. Remove chicken from the pickle juice maranade and drain well. Use a paper towel to blot dry. Dip into the egg wash and then into the flour mixture.
Step 6

6. Fry the chicken however you prefer here.I used a deep fryer and fried each batch for 6 minutes 30. ( I inentionally left off the word seconds because I think it sounds European) Chick-Fil-A deep fries theirs in a pressure cooker, so you can try that if you are feeling adventurous.
