Instructions

Step 1
1. Cut butter into pieces and beat for about a minute. 2. Add sugars and mix until combined. 3. Add eggs and vanilla extract, mix for about two minutes. 4. Add flour, cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix until well incorporated. 5. Scrape the bottom and sides of the bowl. 6. Divide the dough into six equal portions.
Step 2
1. Shape each portion into 2 large dough balls (approximately 5.5 oz each). 2. Place 6 cookies on each baking sheet. 3. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 13-14 minutes. 4. Let cookies cool down after baking. NOTE: If your cookies are coming out a bit raw, try baking them for 2 more minutes or broil them for 1–2 minutes at the end to finish them off. Every oven’s a little different!
