Instructions

Step 1
Cook linguine pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Step 2
While the pasta is cooking, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Step 3
Add shrimp to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and sauté for 2–3 minutes per side, or until pink and cooked through. Remove shrimp and set aside.
Step 4
In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Step 5
Reduce heat to low and pour in the heavy cream, stirring constantly. Let it simmer gently for 3–4 minutes.
Step 6
Stir in Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes, mixing until the cheese is fully melted and the sauce thickens slightly.
Step 7
Add lemon juice and return the shrimp to the pan. Toss in the drained linguine and stir to coat everything evenly.
Step 8
Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
